On August 25th, Dr. Amrita Duhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur (East), was the chief guest at the "Operation Garima" event. She was honored by the school's Principal, Rama Asnani, and School Administrator, Mr. Bhupesh Kachhwaha. With a background of medical and previous roles, including being the First DCP in Jaipur, Dr. Duhan aims to raise awareness about crimes against women through the program.
She explained that crimes like domestic violence, dowry demands, and harassment fall under this category. For those under 18, the POCSO Act applies. Dr. Duhan emphasized using the dignity helpline (1090) if harassed. She cautioned against accepting social media requests from strangers and urged students to take action if needed. School Principal Mrs. Rama Asnani thanked her for her impactful session.
